With Gan Cao, topically for sores.
Hb. Verbena Officinalis Ma Bian Cao 4.5-30g Invigorates the Blood, reduces abdominal masses, cools the Blood, unblocks the menses, clears Heat and resolves toxicity.
Spina Gleditsiae Zao Jiao Ci 3-10g Draws out toxicity, discharges pus, invigorates the Blood and reduces swelling.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 6-14g Clears Heat and relieves Fire toxicity.

CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS

  • Fallopian tube blockage
  • Lower abdominal distention and pain (usually on right)
  • Pain increases on pressure with rebound tenderness
  • Guarding of the abdominal musculature
  • Groin pain resembling urinary dysfunction without urinary difficulty
  • Groin pain relieved by flexing hip and knee
  • Groin pain intensified by extending hip
  • Perspiration
  • Irregular or intermittent fever followed by chills and perspiration
  • May be mass in lower right quadrant of abdomen
  • Aversion to Cold
